DEAR ALY

 

Dear ALY,

We did it.  We celebrated you so beautifully 

we reached out in new ways

we came together as if we were NEW, open-hearted friends

we mourned in our own unique way

we  toured your favorite sites

we ate Generously shared meals as family  Communion

we swam  and dived into waters with abandon

we rode in planes and boats

we privately prayed and called out to the sky

we were reminded how indigenous we all are deep inside

we were uplifted by the mountains at your Memorial 

we got to know in new ways,  people we thought we once knew

we felt comfort in being together so that unbelievably challenging emotions could be supported

we slept in borrowed family beds with clean sheets

we suspended judgments of ourselves and others

we played in sand

we got to know better three generations of family

we attended auctions as a personal and unique way of being together in grief

we were healed and elated as one child sang a song and another said a  psalm at your memorial

we counseled each other privately 

we included elders and the young

we knew that the beauty and truth of the memorial would always be an incredibly  treasured memory of You

we talked machine talk as a comfortable way to re-bond

we cried , some inside, some outside

we suspended judgments of ourselves and others

we celebrated you in your NEW Spirit Form

we learned Aly, we are always Students

7 STATEMENTS ABOUT NICOLAS   BY LINDA AND HOW THEY COLLABORATED BY CREATING 12 INTERVIEWS

1. Nicolas and I have been playing like children, like a close brother and sister for lots of years.  Linda  suspects we had a past life.

2. Linda teaches Nicolas how to laugh.  Nicolas teaches Linda  Humility.  Linda makes him publicly perform with her. He, disguised as  ST JOHN OF THE CROSS and she, dressed as  ST TERESA OF AVILA. If they can travel someday they want to go to Avila.

3. Over these many years, Nicolas asked Lindaa  4098848 questions  and Linda answered them all. Nicolas and Linda specialize in DEATH RESEARCH. Nicolas has cleaned Linda out of all of her information via his interviews, so her thinking is now her art-life process is available to all once she dies!!!!

        4. Nicolas uses the "written question format" as a Device and Linda responded happily because she doesn't like to talk but likes to write.

    5. Linda wrote a book of interviews in the 80's  and LOVES LOVE LOVES  interviews.  Nicolas intuited her specialty and gathered  12 interviews between them, easily and  magically asking  058988 questions over the years without her realizing that she was "communicating information.". 

6. Doing interviews online is a prelude to dematerialization and robotization and not showing up physically some day. Nicolas is preparing Linda to  "LET  GO of her body!!!!"

7. Linda encourages Nicolas to talk loudly and laugh hard  when they talk on the phone and she considers this phone time together,  moments of HIGH EVERYDAY LIFE- ART.

ADOPT FOR  3  DAYS  A GRACE EXHIBITION SPACE  PERFORMANCE ARTIST.  WHY?  TO HELP FINANCIALLY THE GRACE EXHIBITION SPACE'S 15TH YEAR OF  CELEBRATION

WHAT:   

Do you want to financially help Grace Exhibition Space financially?  Have you always wanted to spend zoom/facetime/skype/phone time with a performance artist who has performed at  Grace?

Guess what?  We have a perfect plan for you. For $2000-$7000,  you can adopt a 'GRACE-ETTE"  for 3 days.

Yes you can perform an endurance with them an definitely talk with them twice each day for an agreed amount of time.   Talk about their art, their life. your art, your creativity( we ALL ARE CREATIVE some with art, some with watching birds out of the window.)

The GRACE-ETTE will donate all of the funds to GRACE EXHIBION SPACE in thanks for the 15 years of their GENEROUS  art-life giving.

Below is a list of artists you can  research and choose from.  Lets make art an exciting journey into the GARDEN OF CREATIVITY AND COMMUNITY.

HOW:  

You and the performance artist will decide  how you want to collaborate together and what times and which methodology is best for your lives.
